Have you noticed or do you expect to notice a downturn in the local market?

Answer:

The local market is slowing down, but in our area sales can slow down due to winter coming.

Question:

Is the national downturn really there or just new hype?

Answer:

Yes, there is a downturn in some areas of our nation. Media coverage has given the matter a lot of attention, thus, sending a message of panic to onlookers. Alaska is very different than the lower 48. But we could still see some big price reductions and foreclosures. Alaska tends to be several months behind the continental US, so we will have to wait and see.
